A bold, grill-fired chili queso hot dog loaded with crunchy tortilla chips, pickled jalapeños, and a rich, melty finish.
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat recteq to 400ºF–450°F.
- Step 2: Grill hot dogs for 6–8 minutes, turning occasionally until heated through and lightly charred (165°F internal).
- Step 3: Heat chili and queso in a sauce pot or on low heat until hot and smooth.
- Step 4: Butter brioche buns and toast cut-side down until golden.
- Step 5: First, add a hot dog to the toasted bun, spoon chili over the top, top with pickled jalapeños, and sprinkle crushed tortilla chips over. Finish with a heavy queso drizzle and optional swipe of mustard and a dusting of your recteq rub of choice.
- Step 6: Finally, place assembled dogs back on the grill for 1–2 minutes to set toppings.
