Cheesy Pigs in a Blanket

These smoky pigs in a blanket wrap juicy little sausages in buttery, golden dough for the ultimate crowd-pleasing recteq appetizer.
Instructions
- Step 1: Roll the crescent roll flat on the cutting board. Using chef knife, cut strips out of the crescent rolls.
- Step 2: Starting on one end of the sausage, roll the crescent roll around the sausage covering the whole sausage and ending on the opposite side.
- Step 3: In a small mixing bowl add egg and water and whisk well until well combined. Brush egg wash lightly over crescent roll.
- Step 4: Season with Rossarooski's Honey Rib Rub, then top with cheese and place on recteq Mesh Cooking Mat. Then place inside recteq. Cook for 15-18 minutes until golden brown.
- Step 5: Remove from recteq and season the top with Chef Greg's 4 Letter Rub.
- Step 6: Remove pigs in a blanket from recteq Mesh Cooking Mat and let rest for 5 minutes before serving.
