So far so good

So far I have made jerky and a couple of T bones. This machine is super easy to use and the steaks were so good.

No regrets

I am very pleased with super solid build of the 1070 and easy to navigate cart for the back yard. I went with 1070 for it’s small footprint, smoke capacity, and the hopper lid is a built in tray . Recteq online content was helpful and so far I just seasoned and cooked the chicken thighs. Rub seasoning was on point and thighs turned out super crispy. I was surprised that the temp reached 400 f in less than 4 minutes…vs my gas grill. Pretty stoked to step up my culinary game.

Smokin

This is my 3rd smoker in the last 15 years. I graduated from an electric box to a Grilla Silverback which foe years was excellent to now the Mack Daddy of smokers! This thing heater fast and maintains steady even temps no matter the weather you are in. Great job on this unit! I would ask that the app be able to spend an alarm on my iphone instead of just a pop up notification that can easily be missed.

We are just barely getting

We are just barely getting started with our new smoker. So far, we have really liked it. The hopper size is great. We can’t want to use it more.

This is my new go to grill/smoker

I have 2 offset stick burners and a large Big Green Egg. In addition, I have owned several gas grills over the last 40 years. I have always avoided pellet burners since they were somewhat limited on their high temperatures. However, Recteq solved that problem and the ease of startup and temperature control is a game changer. Set and forget vs a lifetime of monitoring temperature and time. I have only had a few cooks, but am blown away by the ease of cooking and the food results. And, the quick warm up and temperature control allow me to spend more time with my grandkids and less time monitoring my fire. I was also pleasantly surprised at the build quality. It’s built like a tank and extremely well designed. I love it!
