Got my mini.. cooked on it bout 5 nights a week. Temp sensor went bad.. Called hot line on a Saturday eve at 8 pm central time. Tech walked me thru resets to no avail. Had a new sensor on Wednsday.. Tell me another company with that kind of service

Rec tec has been the best company to deal with. There customer service has been above and beyond excellent to deal with. I would not buy any other pellet grill. I recommend this grill to all my friends and family.

I have the mini and have had no complaints from the people that have ate the food. I have 3 family mebers that now have there own and love using it! Rec Tec alson has the best customer service i have ever seen. Thanks Chris.

Upon arrival I switched out probe (Saturday). Got same error display. Called customer service not expecting anyone to answer. Not only did they answer they walked me through a factory reset. After several failed attempts and an error message they had never seen before. They informed me I would need a new motherboard ($99.00) So they verified my mailing address and sent me one at no cost. All I had to do was return the old one so they could research what had caused the error code on the old one. Great customer service!

Excellent customer service!
My mini arrived with a bent temp probe, thanks to FedEx turning the box upside down at some point in the transit.
I called the Rec Tec support number and the call was answered immediately! I was told the bent probe might still work(it did) but a new probe would be shipped right away.
The new probe arrived within a week. It was very simple to install. Unbolt and unplug the 2 wires from the old probe. Bolt in the new probe, plug in the 2 wires and I was back to smoke'n!
Rec Tec's customer support is second to none!

After calling customer service on a Saturday, they identified my temp sensor as the problem. A replacement was shipped out the same day. Thanks for the great service.

Called about fluctuating actual temperature reading and was promptly mailed a new temperature probe. It was a little bit of work to disassemble and install it but it works great now. Great company that stands behind their products. Love the fact that an actual person answers the phone who is not only knowledgeable but friendly.

I have a rec-tec mini. I was having temperature variations, so I called rec tec. The guy I talked to was extremely helpful in helping me solve my problem. I never got put on hold, never even got transferred! I was very impressed with his knowledge and willingness to help me. And my grill is working great! Thanks!!
Great fast working accurate temp probe
We have tried other less expensive temp probes that have not been as fast acting and as dependable and accurate as this one! Quick service/delivery! Well worth the extra money.
