LARGE RTD TEMPERATURE PROBE

The RTD is the temperature probe attached to the inside of the cooking chamber on the left wall. It has two leads that run to the controller.

FITS MODELS: RT-700, RT-680, RT-590, RT-CMG Beast, RT-TMG Chuckwagon

Original temp probe was off by 95 degrees. The new one came under warranty. Even better it worked to fix the issue.

the probe works just fine. but to remove the old one was more than a pain. the nut and bolt would not come apart. I had to "rig" the new probe with the old one as I had to do something. also to get the wires where they needed was a pain because of the space to do this was not much for a normal size hand.

Easy job to switch the old for the new. First problem I've had with 4 yo 680 other than 1 hot rod replacement. Just like new again
