Let smoke ring! Red, white, & blue wings are the perfect centerpiece for a 4th of July feast!
Instructions
- Step 1: Preheat your recteq to 375°F.
- Step 2: Pat the wings dry and toss with olive oil and Ben's Heffer Dust until evenly coated.
- Step 3: Chef Tip: For extra crispy wings, place them uncovered in the refrigerator for 2-4 hours before cooking. Dry skin equals crispy skin.
- Step 4: Place the wings directly on the grill grates and cook for 40-45 minutes, flipping halfway through, until the internal temperature reaches 185-195°F and the skin is crispy.
- Step 5: Prepare the Red Glaze by combining your favorite buffalo sauce and 4 drops of red food coloring.
- Step 6: Mix the the ranch dressing and grated parmesan cheese for the white sauce.
- Step 7: Mix the recteq pineapple glaze with 4 drops of blue food coloring for the blue sauce.
- Step 8: Remove the wings from the grill and divide into three equal portions.
- Step 9: Toss one portion in the Red Glaze.
- Step 10: Drizzle one portion with the White Sauce.
- Step 11: Toss the remaining wings in the blue pineapple glaze.
- Step 12: Arrange the wings on a platter in red, white, and blue sections and serve immediately.
