We put ~80 hours on this in first 3 weeks!

Haven’t had any disappointments. And, I liked this so much I also sent one to the parents. Good value plus we’re trading stories and recipes!

First four cooks completed

Using the app and video recommendations, I have cooked skin on chicken thighs, butterflied chicken breasts, Parmesan garlic chicken wings and country ribs. The temperature seems to be accurate. The convection cooks very evenly. Only the chicken breasts were slightly overcoooked. I have adjusted that time to cook. Next is reversed sear sirloin steak; I can’t wait!

Perfect for our Condo!

I have to say, after much research and some initial sadness having to give up my life-long grilling on a Weber Grill - I am completely impressed and love grilling/smoking/searing/out-door roasting on my Recteq Bullseye RT-B380X! Our balcony was too narrow to bring our Weber grill so with great help from the Recteq customer support team we found that the Bullseye RT-380X would fit my 38” wide balcony. Once all assembled, we’ve been using it almost every night (as we’re in the middle of a full kitchen remodel) and it’s been a wonderful experience! From chicken, to ribs, to steak, pork tenderloin, potatoes, asparagus, etc everything has been fantastic! My wife and friends are very impressed with my transition to a smoker/grill from a gas grill. Thanks for making this an easy transition!

Great grill!

Quick to temp and achieved desired texture while sealing the juices in on steaks. Looking forward to experimenting with other cuts and meats. RECTEC rocks!

Here is my round 2 submission to the Tales To The Pit Cook-off from stevensmoked. This round we had to include a knife and theme it around something spooky.

I smoked a beef heart on my dad's recteq_official. Then smoked veggies and made black pasta with squid. The knife is a slicer from sovereignbbq all hand-made in the US. I was so happy to be using the upgrate.chefboard for this. It kept the pasta warm as the meat was finishing. Then just flipped it over to use for the meat and sides.

First time smoking brisket was a success! Slow cooked it at 185 degrees for 13 hours and then let it rest for 2 hours in the cooler wrapped up in butcher paper.
