Replacement hinges is a very much improved design. Price is very reasonable also if you need one, they had them in stock at the store front when I went to order one.

The RT-B380 was a game changer for our grilling experience. While we love our RT700 smoker we were looking for something that could perform as our go to for our Saturday night steak night or spur of the moment grilled chicken. Easy to maintain and never disappointed with the performance. Highly recommend to anyone on the fence about which RecTeq to buy as their first grill.

I had to replace the hinge on my Bullseye because the welds broke. I stopped by Recteq HQ on my way home from work. (Lucky me I live 15 minutes from Recteq HQ.) The friendly folks at Recteq gave me a new hinge to replace the broken one. I got home at much to my surprise the new hinge doesn't have the pesky spot welds anymore. It's a solid piece of stainless steel now.

Covered under warranty. We forgot to grab the hardware, they shipped it to us as soon as we called! I've dealt with a lot of companies. But I have never had the Calabro customer service that we get from Rec Teq!

It’s a great grill, but I thought I’d get more of a grilled taste and look. Perhaps I’m not using it correctly to achieve that.
