Made the 4 1/2 hour trip to hopefully pick up a deal. I was looking to get two grills, but only able to snag one, the 340. Highly satisfied with. Cooks great. I have it parked between the Rt-590 and the RT-B380. Wanted the 340 to take on trips.

This is my third rt. I have a 700 and a bullseye. I honestly enjoy the versatility of this one. It would be nice to just have a couple of these. You can have one at 225° for your Boston butts. One for baked beans and Mac and cheese at a different temp. Maybe a third with chicken all going at the same time. But you would be able to have all the different temp set points. Again this things heats up quick and smokes. Does everything you could want from a rt. Plus you can move it around or take it on vacation.

I wanted a 340 to be mobile better than my 590. Lifting the 590 into a lifted chevy is no joke. Well lemme tell ya, this 340 fits the bill plus some! Plenty of cook space for day trips to the lake or whenever we wanna go to the in laws to cookout. It's so easy to fold up and lift into the truck. With a full hopper you might want two people but empty one can do it. Another wonderful addition to the house!

This smoker is easy to transport and use for tailgating. I still rely on mt RT-700 for most of my use, but this is great if I am away from the house or as an overflow for large groups.
