In the middle of smoking some homemade venison summer sausage, I blew a fuse which turned out to be a bad ignitor rod on my old RT680. A quick call the RecTeq HQ, and they said the repair would require a new ceramic rod and fire pot since the ceramic rod was bigger then the old steel hot rod. Got the new parts installed and it fired right up and I was able to finish out my venison summer sausage. THANK YOU RECTEQ!

Recommended by Recteq to fix my old RT-680, which they don’t support anymore. But they do go out of their way to get you back up and running. Picked up at the Evans location and installed with no issues. (Thank you Recteq Videos!)
