Continuously replacing old metal ignitor rods is a thing of the past as recteq’s HOTFLASH Ceramic Ignition System is rated up to 100,000 cycles. This ignitor is shrouded by a stainless steel sleeve that heats up to 1,800ºF for rapid pellet ignition. The firepot design allows airflow around the ignitor, keeping it cooler after shutdown. The ignitor is also isolated from the burn pot, so it is not subject to a constant fire while the grill is in use. *Any recteq purchased AFTER March 1, 2017, comes STANDARD with this ignition system.
