We use our mini-Rec about five days per week so an auger motor that quit working was a problem. However, after calling customer service and explaining the situation, problem solved. We had a new motor in a couple of days. Installation was easy and quick.

Due to dampness and compaction of pellets my auger got jammed and damaged the gears in the auger motor. The RecTec rep was able to diagnose the problem over the phone and shipped a new motor to me immediately. It came in a few days and I was able to install it following instructions on the RecTec website. Installation was a little tricky due to the narrow space between the motor and the auger but after several attempts i was successful and it's working.<br>Overall, RecTec service was terrific!
Customer service was polite and fast shipping. Install was easy except for the small bolt that connects the motor to the auger shaft.

First and most important, Rec Tec customer service is the best! They email, call, and provide their cell number for assistance. The auger motor was easy to install and works like a champ.
Rec Tec Guys are the Best
My RecTec pellets must have got wet because the bottom of my hopper was packed full of hard saw dust and my auger motor didn't last. The guys at Rec Tec helped me trouble shoot the problem, had some ideas that might help, but ultimately had to replace the motor. When it came, they were able to talk to me on the phone at least six times to get it installed correctly. We're now back to smoking meat! 100% best customer service!
