Jalapeno Pork Poppers


  • 12 fresh jalapeños 
  • 8oz cream cheese
  • 1lb. pork sausage
  • 1lb. thin cut bacon


  • Pre-heat the recteq to 275ºF.
  • Core jalapeños and cut in half lengthwise, then set aside.
  • Brown sausage and let cool.
  • Mix sausage with cream cheese.
  • Stuff mixture into jalapeño.
  • Wrap bacon around jalapeño and secure with a toothpick.
  • Grill for 1.5 hours.


The cooking temp. and time depends on how you like your bacon.
