Country Fried Steak Nuggets


  • 4lbs. cubed beef steak
  • 3 cups buttermilk
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 tbsp hot sauce
  • 4 tbsp Casanova's Competition Rub
  • 1 tbsp coarse black pepper

Seasoned Dredge:

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour 
  • 1 tbsp Ben's Heffer Dust
  • 1 tbsp coarse black pepper


  • In a large bowl, combine the buttermilk, eggs, hot sauce, and seasoning, then mix well.
  • Add the cubed steak and marinate for 2-4 hours.
  • In the Matador, pre-heat the oil to 350<℉.
  • In a bowl, combine all the ingredients for the dredge and mix well.
  • Add the steak nuggets to the dredge, shaking off any excess.
  • Add to the hot oil and fry for approximately 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
