• 4lbs. cubed beef steak
  • 3 cups buttermilk
  • 3 eggs
  • 2 tbsp hot sauce
  • 4 tbsp Casanova's Competition Rub
  • 1 tbsp coarse black pepper

Seasoned Dredge:

  • 4 cups all-purpose flour 
  • 1 tbsp Ben's Heffer Dust
  • 1 tbsp coarse black pepper


  1. In a large bowl, combine the buttermilk, eggs, hot sauce, and seasoning, then mix well.
  2. Add the cubed steak and marinate for 2-4 hours.
  3. In the Matador, pre-heat the oil to 350<℉.
  4. In a bowl, combine all the ingredients for the dredge and mix well.
  5. Add the steak nuggets to the dredge, shaking off any excess.
  6. Add to the hot oil and fry for approximately 5-7 minutes until golden brown.
