SEAR KIT FOR RT-340
The Sear Kit is made up of two interlocking panels that fit across the surface of your RT-340. They can either replace your existing grates or cover them. The hard anodized aluminum emits infrared heat which increases the grill’s surface temperature, reduces burning, and delivers restaurant quality sear marks. Flip it over and use the flat side for a surface sear. Simply place this Sear Kit on the righthand side of your cooking grates and it will provide you with bold sear marks and even bolder flavor.

I have had a chance to use the searing kit twice and found it to be exceptional. Meat does not stick to the grates and the grates create some awesome grill marks. Well worth the purchase.
Works great. Don't really need it on my RecTec, but use it frequently on my gas grill especially for fish and hamburgers. I especially like the spatula that fits in the grooves making turning fish a breeze, bought one for my daughter.
